Powers and Duties of Office Bearers

a) The President:
Shall be the head of the society who preside over all the meetings and functions of the society. He shall have complete responsibility over all the activities of the society.

b) The Vice President:
Shall preside over all the meetings and functions of the society in the absence of the president.

c) Chairman:
Shall preside over the sub committee meeting and responsible for executive matters related to the society. In the absence of the chairman, any senior executive member shall occupy the chair to conduct the meeting.

 

d) The General Secretary: 
Shall be the chief executive officer responsible for the management of the society. He shall represent the society in all transaction and communications of the society, all transaction and communications of the society shall be placed before the executive meeting for approval. The general secretary shall have the power to conduct executive meeting, Gen. Body meeting and any special meeting as per the advice of the president, In times of necessity and urgency the General Secretary shall act after obtaining the consent from the president of the executive committee members who shall be informed by a circular.
e) Joint Secretary:
In the absence of general secretary, the joint secretary will take care of the duties of general secretary. He will assist and help, and render all Co-operation to the general secretary in maintaining the accounts and reports of the society.
f) Assistant Secretary:
He shall take care of the duties of general secretary and joint secretary to help them in all matters of the society.
g) Treasurer:
The treasurer shall keep the cash accounts/bank account of the society in a proper manner and shall have to act under the advice of the president and general secretary in regards to the funds, Subscription, donation etc., of society shall be maintained. He shall have power to keep Rs. 500-00 (Rupees Five hundred) in cash and remaining amount shall be deposited in the banks and posses pass books cash balance sheets and etc.
h) Auditor:
The auditor shall examine the accounts and submit a and honest report to the management of the society.
i) General Body:
The ultimate authority in all matters relating to the society shall vest with general body. 21 days’ notice shall be given of such general body meeting. Any consideration of resolution acts, demands 2/3rd majority of the members present. If votes are equal the president of the society shall be final and binding.
j) Quorum:
At all the meetings of executive committee 1/3rd of the members shall from a quorum. For want of quorum the meeting shall be postponed. In the Absence of quorum a second time the meeting shall be conducted with members present.
